Part I here if you missed it.

After the Unreliable LAN Box found its calling as a home server, I built up a true LAN machine based on an extra motherboard and RAM I had available. Wee Box was born! Another exercise in patience, as the case was made by Custom Mod in Ukraine and took over a month to be delivered. I wanted to make the most capable PC I could in the tiniest reasonable space I could find. This brave little toaster was eventually named Wee Box because of its diminutive size, obvs.

I have yet to use it at an actual LAN party because of COVID 19, but have got a lot of use out of it around the house testing CAT5e cable runs to different places and for a gaming setup on the couch whenever my significant other is doing schoolwork. It’s loud, it’s proud, and it’s a friggin’ BEAST of a performer. It runs an i5 9400f, GTX 1660 Super, stuffed into the Case Mods 4.7L FX LM case.

Wee Box in all its glory.
Typical living room situation, Corsair K63 Lapboard and a 15.4″ Lepow portable monitor.

And last but not least, I have my trusty Sager/Clevo NP-something-or-other laptop (can’t double check because it’s got a skin on it covering the labels). Can’t remember the specs of the top of my head, but it’s to the tune of some i7 mobile chip and GTX 970m. I used it a lot when traveling for work, however that hasn’t been a thing in over a year so it’s rarely used now for much.

The typical work travel setup.

That’s it! That’s the whole family. Most of the games I’ll be playing will be on MURPHY, and consoles will be Xbox 360 (yes I still have some of those titles to finish), Xbox One S, and PS4 Pro.
